Rounds, squares and hexagons

Corrosion- and hot-resistant (stainless) steel is manufactured as per GOST 5632-61 .

    This type of steel is subdivided into austenic and ferritic.

    Gauge of corrosion- and heat-resistant steel complies with the following standards:

  • hot-rolled rounds per GOST 2590-88 ;
  • hot-rolled squares per GOST 2591-88 ;
  • hot-rolled hexagonal per GOST 2879-88 .

    Austenic steel is 12Õ18Í10Ò, 08Õ18Í10Ò, 23Õ23Í18 , 10Õ17Í13ÌÄÒ and others. Carbon amount is indicated in percent centesimals.

    Ferritic steel is 20Õ13, 40Õ13, 95Õ18, 15Õ25Ò and others. Carbon amount is indicated in percent centesimals, that of chrome – in decimals.
